I'm William Pearce, an interior and architecture photographer working across London, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire and the wider Home Counties. I work regularly with interior designers, architects and developers to document fit-outs, workplace design and hospitality spaces — including this recent project Johnston Cave Associates in Hampshire.

The project included changes inside and out to help open up the building into a more modern family home that better integrated the house with the gardens. We had a day to capture both which was a fun challenge. Lighting best suited exteriors at the start of the day so we began there, using Sunsurveyor to help plan shots according to the suns path. Next we moved onto photographing the interior, we started getting some cloud cover for some of these creating a nice mixture of shots with harder and softer light options which helped add to the diversity of the imagery.
